Netflix’s LGBTQ teen drama, Heartstopper, starring Kit Connor was a breakout hit for the streamer earlier this year. Now, the breakout star is being represented by WME according to an exclusive report by Deadline.
Connor’s popularity has skyrocketed since he portrayed sweet and kind athlete, Nick Nelson, in the British coming-of-age drama Heartstopper. The television series, based on the popular webcomic of the same name by series creator and executive producer, Alice Oseman, follows two British schoolboys whose friendship develops into something more.
Kit Connor has been acting since the age of eight, and appeared in films such as 2019’s Rocketman, and the 2014 Warner Brothers film, Get Santa.
Connor will continue to be represented in the UK by United Talent Group.
