The super-powered and super-dysfunctional Hargreeves family is returning for one more season over on Netflix. According to Deadline, the superhero family drama’s fourth season will be its last. Creator and executive producer, Steve Blackman, is expected to return and will continue his partnership with Netflix by developing two new projects under his recently launched Irish Cowboy shingle. Blackman made the following statement in the Deadline article:
I’m so excited that the incredibly loyal fans of The Umbrella Academy will be able to experience the fitting end to the Hargreeves siblings’ journey we began five years ago. But before we get to that conclusion, we’ve got an amazing story ahead for season four, one that will have fans on the edge of their seats until the final minutes.
