Ever since the Pilot episode of CW’s The Flash, the character of Cisco Ramon rang a bell in the heads of comic book readers. Francisco Ramon was a character in DC’s The New 52 comics that, after being exposed to energy emanating from a Boom Tube (a bridge between dimensions) that Darkseid used to invade Earth, was given vibration powers that he used to stop fugitives across the multiverse (as told in Justice League of America’s Vibe Vol 1, Issue 4)

The television show introduced the character as a technician at S.T.A.R. Labs working alongside Caitlin Snow and Harrison Wells to not only keep Barry Allen alive while he was in a coma, but also help Barry in his journey to becoming The Flash by helping protect Central City from threats, metahuman or otherwise. At the same time though, I’m sure everyone was clamoring to see powers from the comics come to life on screen.

The Flash Season 3, Episode 11 “Dead or Alive”
Now, after his powers began revealing themselves towards the end of Season 1, culminating up through Season 3 has finally shown Cisco going into “full-on Vibe mode”, as he would say, especially getting a superhero suit! Just recently, a Instagram post of Andy Poon’s, a concept artist on The Flash, surfaced depicting the illustration behind Vibe’s costume. Take a look:

Personally, I think the costume is very realistic in that it looks like an outfit Cisco can just pull out of his closet rather than your typical one or two-piece super suit. It fits Cisco’s character in more ways than one because we expect him to dress casually and look super doing it. Furthermore, all of these costumes, especially those of speedsters Jessie Quick and Wally West, echo that of The Flash. The Speedforce was right, The Flash inspires all to be heroes…that, or Cisco just loves throwing in red, yellow, and angles! Either way, the costume rules, and I can’t wait for more of Cisco’s alter ego on The Flash.

Let me know what you thought of the suit on my Twitter page, Mike Guimond, and look out for more content from me at Geek Motivation!
