There’s been much anticipation since Deadpool premiered and Cable’s involvement in the sequel was announced. It was revealed in April that Josh Brolin will portray the character and the hype hasn’t died down, especially since the actor has been sharing on social media how he’s been preparing for the role.
In an interview with Fandango, while promoting his upcoming film The Hitman’s Bodyguard, Ryan Reynolds shared a bit about these characters’ interaction:
“I think it’s going to be very interesting. I’ve spent this last week on the business end of many Josh Brolin punches. Both verbal and physical and literal and it’s going to be pretty fantastic. He’s going to be epic. He’s going to be an epic Cable.”
Deadpool 2 will be released the 1st of June, 2018
