As always, the story is riveting. Part 3 of The War of Jokes And Riddles is here, and it does not disappoint. Showing a side of Bruce’s Batman we rarely get to see, the Dark Knight takes the audience down a 5 day-long battle between two of his greatest rogues. As with the previous issues, Bruce is still telling Selina of his perspective of the war between the Joker and Riddler years before the present day.
Watching the dynamic of Catwoman and Batman play out on the pages is one of the best aspects of this issue. The spark between the two does not go unnoticed, and as we know, that spark turned into a flame as Bruce and Selina are preparing to be Mr. and Mrs. Wayne. At this point in The War of Jokes and Riddles, the stakes are higher than ever, as Joker and Riddler pit their soldiers against one another. Unfortunately for Gotham, the innocent citizens are getting stuck in the middle of a war between lunatics.
This is not an issue you want to miss. Make your way to your local comic book shop and pick up the latest installment of The War of Jokes and Riddles Part 3 today! Batman #28 is on shelves today, and Batman #29 will be released on August 16th! Let us know your thoughts on The War in the comments below, but please, keep everything spoiler-free!
