Earlier this morning the very first trailer for Little Women was released. This film is written and directed by Greta Gerwig who also wrote and directed the 2017 film Lady Bird. Saoirse Ronan and Timothée Chalamaet who starred in Lady Bird also star in Little Women.
The cast also includes Meryl Streep, Laura Dern, Emma Watson, and Florence Pugh. This isn’t the first time that Louisa May Alcott’s novel has been adapted for the screen. Winona Ryder and Susan Sarandon starred in the 1994 version and Emily Watson and Angela Lansbury starred in the 2017 BBC series.
