CBS All Access has been around for a few years now. The home to shows such as Star Trek: Discovery and The Twilight Zone reboot also offers live television via the CBS network. Now, the service will be getting a fresh face with a rebrand as it begins to expand its international reach in the next 12 months, according to ViacomCBS CEO Bob Bakish.
Bakish also announced that Paramount films, Nickolodeon and BET shows, and content from other networks will be join joining the streaming service. The service will continue to offer live television as well as on-demand news coverage, and more original content is on the way. Our recent exclusive speculates that the upcoming adaption of Gabriel Hardman and Corinna Bechko’s graphic novel The Invisible Republic.
ViacomCBS believes that it is crucial to continue offering these live television options, and will begin putting more of an emphasis on exclusive streaming rights for sporting events. Currently, CBS All Access has rights to stream the NFL, Baseball, and NCAA Basketball and Football, and have exclusive rights to women’s soccer and UAIFA matches.
