I found this little gem of a TV show searching endlessly in Netflix’s horror section. Bloodride is a Norwegian anthology series with each episode centered on horrific or thriller-filled events. The show starts with a creepy bus driver (driving an even creepier bus) and each episode concentrates on a certain passenger.

There is a total of only 6 episodes for the first season but hopefully Netflix orders another because I finished it in one entire sitting! The main reason I loved this show is the fact that every story seems to go one direction and then it goes an entirely different way.

Anthology series seem to be taking over the media nowadays, and Bloodride deserves a spot on a top list. The writing, acting, and cinematography were flawless and I just couldn’t wait to see episode after episode.

Every main character was worth watching since each one literally went through hell and back to earn a seat on the dreaded “death” bus.

We also get an astounding look at the inner workings of Norwegian storytelling along with little touches of their culture’s myths, legends, and other elements of what scares them the most.

When starting the show, just make sure to switch the audio options to the original language and not the English dubbed version. (Trust me, it’s pretty painful to hear it in English and you won’t get the full experience.)

Comment below on what episode shocked you the most!
