After the recent success of Netflix’s Project Power, it looks like director’s Henry Joost and Ariel Schulman have found their next director chairs. Warner Brothers has tapped the duo to direct their upcoming action thriller Nemesis.
According to the initial report, the story will follow a genius engineer and a vigilante to take down a corrupt President after the engineer watches the President commit a serious crime. The story was initially written by Stephen Chin (War Dogs) while Emerald Fennell has written the most recent draft of the film, first announced in 2018.
Project Power is the latest film in Joost and Schulman’s filmography, which includes titles such as Paranormal Activity 3 & 4, Nerve, and more. The Netflix hit was written by the co-writer of DC’s upcoming The Batman Mattson Tomlin, which is directed by Matt Reeves and stars Robert Pattinson.
