Turk Barrett Will Make His Return In The Punisher

With the first season of the next Marvel Netflix series, The Punisher, coming so close to its release, many fans have been speculating which characters from the comics and other Marvel Netflix series would be appearing. Thanks to these images of the series, provided by SFX magazine, fans can cross another character from the list.

In these images, we can see two characters from previous Marvel Netflix series besides Frank Castle: Karen Page, played by Deborah Ann Woll in Daredevil and The Defenders, who was already confirmed to be in the series, and Turk Barrett, played by Rob Morgan in DaredevilLuke Cage and The Defenders.

That’s right, Turk Barrett, Hell’s Kitchen’s favorite vigilante punching bag. Whenever Daredevil or Luke Cage are looking for whichever crime boss or super-villain they’re trying to stop, Turk Barrett is the thug to beat up, torture and threaten to kill. And it seems Frank Castle, aka The Punisher, is going to do just that. But, unlike Daredevil and Luke Cage, Castle is no hero and might actually go through with his death threats if he doesn’t get what he wants, so Turk is in real trouble this time. Will Turk Barrett live again to get beat up by whichever superhero he’s unlucky enough to cross? We’ll have to wait untill The Punisher releases on Netflix.

Frank Castle, known throughout New York City as “the Punisher” after exacting revenge on those responsible for the death of his family, uncovers a larger conspiracy beyond what was done to him and his family.

The Punisher is a Netflix original series created by Steve Lightfoot and starring John Bernthal as the titular anti-hero. The series will be released this year on Netflix.
