The Shazam film production keeps getting bigger and better!
The Wrap’s Umberto Gonzalez has confirmed that the Kingsman: The Golden Circle star in talks to play the villainous Doctor Sivana for New Line’s Shazam film. This comes after the news that Zachary Levi (Chuck) will star as Captain Marvel himself.

Doctor Thaddeus Bodog Sivana is known as Shazam’s archenemy. He is a scientific genius and was responsible to find the tomb of Black Adam. Having him in the film can help introduce the character, played by The Rock.
Strong isn’t a stranger to DC films as he previously played Sinestro in the 2011 Green Lantern film.
Shazam will be directed by Lights Out director David Sandberg and likely be released in 2019.
